Inbound Marketing is a new philosophy and with it comes many questions. Throughout the years of working with startup founders, I have aggregated this FAQ page to help inform potential customers like you.
Have you worked with any similar startups?
I work with tech startups that are currently generating sales from online revenue and have received at least a seed round investment. Some startups I have worked at include Prohbtd Media, Rep, Senseware, Propertyroom.com, SL8Z, and AudienceFUEL. Also, I also help advise some startups in Washington, D.C. I’m comfortable helping eCommerce companies, scale marketplaces, helping Saas startups that receive monthly recurring revenue.
Without a strategic marketing gameplan you aren’t likely to see results. Similar to any sports team to achieve the best results a strategy is required, your marketing will work best with a gameplan as well.
What’s the Expected ROI?
With a 12 month commitment, you will see your inbound leads grow by an average of 30%. To gain a rough estimate, you can use this inbound ROI calculator. As well your conversion goals will increase by 1% due to optimizing your website with targeted content offers.
Overall growth marketing 6 months to help your startup receive exponential growth. I recommend social selling and growth hacking by yourself if you’re strapped for cash. Once you can clearly identify your buyer personas and the best marketing channels to reach your ideal customer, then growth marketing is a great investment.
How long are your engagements?
I offer a 1-month growth marketing gameplan (costs $3,750) which allows us both of to determine if we’re a good fit. If we decide to move forward, engagements are 12 months long based on a monthly recurring retainer.
Can we see some of your writing samples?
Here are several testimonials that serve as references of my skill set.
Why do I need ebooks and content offers?
Ebooks and content offers allow you to capture lead data. Without providing something of value, why would visitors give you their contact information? And if you aren’t capturing contact information, how are you continuing to nurture relationships with potential customers.
How are you able to write for various industries?
Through performing interviews with subject matter experts and doing in-depth research, I’m able to write content that informs and educates in an entertaining manner. I use tools such as Grammarly that check my writing for grammar, and ability to rank within Google.
Additionally, we select writers that have knowledge in your industry, so they can communicate the information your Subject Matter Experts share.
I have written over 70+ long-form blog posts on my website and 25+ guest blog posts for tech startups such as HubSpot, Mention, and Blavity. Also, I have managed to develop relationships with the major influencers through my blogger outreach efforts.
Do I have to use HubSpot?
Using HubSpot is not a requirement for growth marketing. You can use other third-party tools or another marketing automation platform, but it makes it easier using just one tool from my professional experience. That’s why I use HubSpot with all of my marketing clients. Also if you are a tech startup you may be eligible to receive a 90% discount on HubSpot.
How quickly can we get started?
I have three phases that each startup I work with goes through.
- I require you to complete a growth marketing gameplan with me that takes one month to complete. Then a 6 or 12-month retainer is agreed upon if we’re a good fit.
- During phase two we will set up your marketing automation platform(HubSpot).
- Phase three consists of performing 90-day sprints of implementing and measuring inbound marketing campaigns.

Don’t worry I will make sure I share that with you if we chat. Here’s a list of what I look for… If you don’t fit all these items don’t get discouraged, this is to serve as informational purposes.
